Hilton Brighton Metropole

"It’s the atmosphere and service which makes a hotel seem really special and that’s what makes this one stand out from the crowd. A special mention goes to Gabor the concierge, who, when asked for some peppermint tea bags, came back with a handful and a big smile on his face saying if we needed any more, or if we needed anything at all, he was there to help."
THE BACKGROUND: Brighton landmark designed by the architect Alfred Woodhouse whose other claim to fame is the Natural History Museum, this 340 guest room property has an imposing presence on the Brighton seafront.
THE LOCATION: It's right in the heart of things, overlooking the West Pier and the soon to be built I360. With great views out to sea, and within a short walk of the Lanes, it is a great base from which to explore Brighton.

There is a king sized bed with a very comfortable mattress, wardrobe, safe, drawers, desk with chair, small table, un-stocked fridge, kettle, bedside tables and a long shared balcony from which to get a blast of sea air.
