easyJet shows support for high street agencies

easyJet holidays has launched a new initiative to support its trade partners and encourage customers to book through a travel agent.
The holiday provider is supplying easyJet holidays designed and branded marketing collateral to over 1,000 high street stores, which when displayed should help to entice customers to book a break with their trusted travel agent. Stores will be displaying the assets from April 19.
To celebrate the reopening of high street agencies, easyJet holidays is also launching a weekly draw for two trade agents to win one of eight holidays each week for four weeks,
Agents who make a booking with easyJet holidays between April 19 and May 16 will be automatically entered into the weekly draws, with the first winners selected on April 26.
The successful agents, who will be announced on the easyJet holidays - agents Facebook page, will then be given a £1,000 credit to be used on any easyJet holiday across its European network.
easyJet holidays is also offering virtual agent training, to refamiliarise agents with the easyJet holidays brand and proposition and provide upskilling for trade partners who are returning to work, either online or in store.
The events and training sessions, run by the inhouse distribution team, will seek to raise awareness of the brand and re-ignite customer trust and enthusiasm for holidays to European holiday hotspots.
Brad Bennetts, Head of Distribution for easyJet holidays, said: “Ever since we launched to the trade in August 2020 we’ve been blown away by the response. So as high street travel agents return to their stores we want to show our support as they get back to business.
“We’re sending out newly designed branded assets to over 1000 stores and we’re hosting training and customer brand events, open to all our trade partners, to help support them in booking the best holidays for their customers.
“And we know that many of our trade partners love to travel themselves, but were unable to get away in 2020, we’re really excited to be launching a weekly holiday draw to give our agents a bit of a boost and to show our appreciation for their support of easyJet holidays.”
Customers booking through trade partners can also enjoy flexible booking options, such as the freedom to change their holiday up to 28 days before departure.
