Agents will be able to suggest a choice of up to 56 weekly flights from Bristol Airport, which became the company’s tenth UK base last week.

In its first summer of operations, and Jet2holidays will fly to 33 destinations from Bristol, including: Spain, the Canary Islands, the Balearic Islands, Greece, Turkey, Italy, Portugal and Madeira.

Steve Heapy, CEO of and Jet2holidays, said: “Demand from customers and independent travel agents in both regions is telling us that flights and holidays to Greece are very much in demand for next summer. As ever, we are responding quickly to that demand to give customers even more choice from Newcastle and East Midlands Airports. Kefalonia, Skiathos and Santorini are magical destinations, and we know their appeal, coupled with our award-winning customer experience, will make them extremely popular from Newcastle and East Midlands Airports.”

Dave Lees, CEO, Bristol Airport said: “We are delighted to welcome and Jet2holidays to Bristol Airport.

"Never has the time been more important for the region to look to the future in a post-Covid world, and and Jet2holidays have shown the confidence in the strength of the region to open up their tenth UK operating base at Bristol Airport.

"This exciting news is a major step towards the future by creating job opportunities, providing significant investment and an increase in the choice of destinations and holidays available to customers in the region.  We will continue to work closely with and Jet2holidays on the strategic partnership and develop further opportunities in the future.”
