Peter Andre to join agents for Jet2 conference in Costa Blanca

Jet2 unveiled details of its upcoming annual conference for independent travel agency partners at a Spanish-themed event in Manchester last night (June 5) - it will take place this November 25-28 on Spain's Costa Blanca with singer Peter Andre as the star guest.

Agents joining Jet2 for the announcement were left in suspense as the team sported question marks on their t-shirts, which were then ripped off to reveal the conference destination hotel – AR Diamante Beach & Spa in Calpe – underneath.

Speaking at Avuna restaurant, packed with travel agents, Jet2Holidays’ Head of Trade Alan Cross said more than 300  agents and partners will attend this year’s ‘La Gran Reunion' themed conference.

Jet2holiday’s top performing agency partners will come together to learn how they can work in partnership with the package holiday specialist to promote and sell package holidays and drive business growth.

There will also be presentations, supplier showcases, a gala dinner, quiz, and a high-profile awards ceremony recognising the best-selling and most successful agents of the past 12 months.

The program will also include a Britain’s Got Talent-style competition for delegates hosted at the nearby Benidorm Palace.

Alan Cross said: “Since we last came together for our annual VIP conference, our partnership approach to working with independent travel agents has gone from strength to strength and we remain absolutely committed to supporting them.”

“We have grown our trade team to 20, launched new destinations, and invested continually in our partnership to success strategy, giving our agency partners even more opportunity to grow their businesses.”

Delegates will be flown to Alicante Airport on chartered flights from Birmingham and Newcastle Airport, using the company’s brand new Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
