There’s always something new and happening in Las Vegas! Here are six attractions which agents could be using to lure clients to the desert city in 2020.
Magic Mike Live
Based on the film about the exploits of an all-male stripper troupe, this isn’t strictly ‘new’ to Vegas. In fact, Magic Mike Live celebrated its 1,000th performance at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in November; but it’s set to re-open at SAHARA Las Vegas this spring. The energetic adult show has continued to receive rave reviews from fans and critics alike since opening in April 2017.
Legendary rockstar Rod Stewart will return to Las Vegas in 2020 for 16 shows of his acclaimed residency ‘Rod Stewart: The Hits’, presented by Caesars Entertainment and Live Nation Las Vegas at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The 75-year-old will strut his stuff and sing big hits like Maggie May, Da Ya Think I’m Sexy and You’re in My Heart during his 90-minute show which runs on selected dates from March 6 to October 3.
True Food Kitchen
This award-winning, seasonally-inspired restaurant and bar first opened in Arizona and has pioneered health-driven dining in the southwest. It opened on the Las Vegas strip in February at the forum shops at Caesars Palace with industrial décor and Las Vegas-inspired artwork. This branch also debuted the true bar, featuring freshly-pressed juices, organic teas and natural refreshers, such as kale aid - plus booze, of course.
Park MGM food tour
Lip smacking foodie tours has a new partnership with park MGM Las Vegas, which the tour company’s founder says has become ‘the latest hotspot for some of Las Vegas’ most exciting restaurants’. Stops include Italian marketplace Eataly’s Manzo for golden arancini funghi dusted with 18-month-aged parmigiano reggiano and the nomad for a dessert of milk and honey ice cream sandwiches.
It will hold up to 72,000 and is set to be completed in 2020. It will be the home of the NFL Oakland Raiders and University of Nevada football teams and the site of the Las Vegas Bowl (local college football game) from 2020, as well as the 2020 and 2021 Pac-12 Football Championship Game. The venue is also sure to host big-name music acts and give the city’s T-Mobile Arena a run for its money.
